star gate primary ability doesn't work #1

When I choose to be a stargazer in the world, I have one button to do my primary special, which should create a stargate and then when pressed again take me to said stargate. Instead all it does is place a new stargate again and again, and nothing I do actually warps me to it. It's very frustrating

Version of Origins, Minecraft, Stargazer etc?
Are you on a server or single player?
