+1 for this repo! This could be extremely helpful for on-boarding, etc.

Let's start adding bash aliases and what not. We can pull libs like z in later. We'll prob need help from the windows side of things (cc: @ericmann). @johnpbloch and @jeffsebring can provide the linux support and the rest of us have OSX so we've got our bases covered =P

Share your thoughts for todos here in the interim.

What about whatever magic you do to get a better command prompt?

As far as colors go or scripts or what?

There are a few tricks I already use for that, but I think we should look into Impromptu for that in the long run.

Not sure. I have seen @helenhousandi and a few others talking about it. I think there was some useful stuff. I don't think color is that big of a deal. Mostly thinking there were other things.

Having VCS information in the prompt is helpful; I think that's what @lgedeon is referring to
