Relationship between eBuy and AASBS Portal for RFQ notifications #112

When a solicitation is release,d how does the AASBS portal and eBuy work together to provide the notifications to the BPA holders? In one communication Hassan mentions that "we issue out request for quotes via the AAS Business Systems application" In other communications we are told the solicitation will come through eBuy. How do the two "systems" work together? Also, we cannot change our eBuy profile by adding the new BPA alias e-mail address that we previously provided. Updating the eBuy profile's e-mail POC address (with the 18F alias) will change the process by which we currently receive all eBuy communications.

Solicitations under the Agile BPA will be issued through the eBuy system. Vendors who have a POC identified in the eBuy system, who is different than the POC identified for the Agile BPA will need to create an internal policy, based on their own business decision/discretion, whereby the POC identified in eBuy can create a procedure where the notification regarding the posting of the the solicitation can flow down to the appropriate Agile BPA POC for execution and processing.
