themagiccircle Could definitely do more interesting things with the sky. There was a complaint about the stars. Maybe try to do something else with the main sky and then use a Magic Circle type effect for a tunnel where the sky changes to stars. Would be pretty easy, and if the eyes do end up getting cut then it would be much easier to accommodate this change. (or the eyes could only show up during these tunnel segments.)

Maybe the inside of the Hippo has a "Harry Potter roof" with the night sky? Could work... Maybe keep Eyes outside of hippo and disable depth test, or make them way smaller and put them on the inside?

There's a 1st person puzzle game called "Parallax" on Steam that has a good example of this tech in their trailer.
