people of his generation (and I think this is actually true for just people in general), aren't going to scroll on a website and look for more than a few seconds, so we've got to be REALLY intentional about grabbing people and their attention right off the bat. (No pun intended.)
I, for one, really like the look of the site right now. I think the main page looks super clean and accessible, especially on mobile. But does it grab my attention? Honestly, not really.
If I were to see this having never heard anything about the game before other than a passing mention, my brain would immediately go "huh, looks like some history thingy."
And if I wasn't into that, I would probably close and move on.
If we could somehow get a gif or something of somebody swinging a bat and the ball coming towards you with 21 c townball. that would be pretty cool
remember when Fox changed their top front page of their website's background to drone footage of campus? I remember that being super eye-grabbing. Like what if we just had that, but of game footage?
