As a developer on the project,
I want to validate the implementation of the activity index feature with a overview report, for this report I need to use data for which there is no issue in it:
a reasonable dispersion around the frame rate mean,
an acceptable number of frames in the video,
the worms in the video seems to have a normal speed,
no sensation of micro loop over a fraction of the frames.
For this issue, an audit is expected, i.e the compilation of the analysis of the available videos in a document. This document might be shared with Theo, thus a google doc may be more appropriate.
To facilitate the audit one will need some script:
downloader of the videos based on the list of URI
an analyzer able to:
analyze the frame rate (read the metadata file, retrieve the theoretical and the actual frames rates) calculate the mean and the dispersion of the frames rate for each video.
count the number of frames for a video
The bigger part of the audit should be a table with the following header most likely:
video name
link to the video
theoretical number of frames
actual number of frames
theoretical frames rate
mean frames rate
standard deviation frames rate
actual time length of the video
there are nematodes on the video
loop back issue(true/false)
elegans speed issue (true/false)
