Check discrepency between the fitting quality #74

commit 1bad61b4551f0293edbc3947bce8c3329461892f shows an almost perfect fitting output. while commit 3b28084484403529106d46a32810106d9eec3923 does not perform as good.

Because there hasn't been any (deliberate) change in the fitting, this should not be the case and might indicate a bug
