When I try scan wifi via Luci I see empty page (only menu, no other page content). I tried this both with custom firmware and with firmware from your repo (http://pkg.8devices.com/carambola2/v2.6/openwrt-ar71xx-generic-carambola2-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin).
I found this topic https://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php?id=52363. It looks like I experience the same issue. So I tried install libiwinfo packages from http://downloads.openwrt.org/snapshots/trunk/ar71xx/packages/base/ and this seems like solved the issue. At least now I can scan wifi networks via Luci.
Can you merge these 2 latest changes into your openwrt repo?
