It seems that the timestamps are based on ctc greedy search.
Have you tested the accuracy? From my own experience, timestamps from CTC peaks are not so accurate.

I've noticed that the handleTimeout is only millisecond granular, but maybe there are more precise requirements, such as us or ns, if it could be provided.? May be I can contribute for this.
