There is an ultra-broad point source of SO and CS CS:

SO:

image

it is detected in the continuum at about 1.5 mJy

it seems to be a nondetection in other lines, including HC3N and SO 4(5)-4(4).

If this isn't an artifact, it's a unique object.

the Tsuboi data confirm the CS detection, but not well with what's in the archive

the only other observations presently covering this source are Betsy's 7m:

No sign in SiO, but a spectrally downsampled (higher sensitivity per channel) version would be helpful...

SO 2(2)-1(1) is also detected, so this is confirmed in my book

image

but apparently only in sulfur-bearing species?

SO2 2(2,0)-3(1,3) is also weakly detected (it'll stand out more in downsampled data)

image Velocity width sigma(SO21) = 82.98928127884643 km / s FWHM(SO) = 195.0248110052891 km / s

There's no sign of any gradient in this feature; it appears unresolved. That puts a size upper limit of roughly 1.5" (the beam size). There's no detection at other wavelengths I've checked: MEERKAT 21cm, HST PaA - no star, no extended emission. Vizier has closest sources at about 1.2" separation, and none seem promising at a glance.

Some GNS and VVV images showing the K-band nondetection

(should formally do this with real GALACTICNUCLEUS data)
