Come to Building realities and find a team, meet mentors from companies you want to work for, and build new realities.
Organized by
ACM SIGGRAPH @ FSU
Email address for sponsors

Signup link
A link for students to sign up and get involved. Make sure they know exactly what it’s for.
Use Cases
Reasons to share the site include:
to distribute basic information about the event such as date and location
To create an identity for Building Realities as an event
Reasons to consume the site include:
Looking for information on how to sponsor the event
Looking for information about how to become an organizer
Looking for information about what the event actually is
Given today’s media climate, the site must be mobile friendly.
Design
Priorities
Above all else, the content (namely the key information we need to convey) needs to come across to any visitor of the site. The first and second thing their eyes see: the name of the event and the date/location.
Make it beautiful to keep them there, but more importantly make sure the design is functional. Form follows content. It might also be of value to make the site as easy to share on social media as possible.
Brand Identity
The only strict requirements for the branding of this teaser site are that it fits in with the rest of the existing promotional materials. The Prospectus reflects the current state of the visual identity of Building Realities, take inspiration from there and feel free to experiment with this .
Fonts:
Text often takes the focus of designed materials, so try to make the text an aspect of the design and not something you consider afterwards. Another aspect I like to consider is the way each font looks in white against a colored background.
These are the conventions for text I have used thus far:
Headings: Roboto. Often times I use a text transformation to make headings all caps, use the regular font-weight, and increase the text-spacing.
Body Text: Source Sans Pro
All of these fonts are easy to find on fonts.google.com for free.
