Common questions and questions related to iFrame currencies and test transactions #12

Hello!

I would like to clarify some questions on different topics.

Non-technical:

  1. Could you confirm and share the official stance on Telegram’s policy regarding transactions outside the mini-app? Is this approach suitable for AEON, and will judges avoid reducing scores or applying penalties for such an implementation?
  2. Will projects that are not built entirely from scratch be allowed in the hackathon? How will the process ensure fair competition between new projects and existing games that have already gained traction?
  3. Does the number or variety of goods available for purchase with AEON in the store influence the judges' scoring criteria?
  4. Should all game assets presented in the store mechanics be fully functional, or can they simply appear as items without real utility at this stage?
  5. How can a project join the TVB (Ton Valuable Builder) Program, or are all projects automatically included?

Technical:

  1. Does AEON offer test cards, wallets, or a sandbox mode to facilitate testing without using real transactions?
  2. When will TON and USDT on TON become accessible within the iFrame?
  3. Should we open the full repository of the project (for judges) or only the part related to smart contracts and AEON integration?
  4. Can we invite only judges to the repository instead of making the project fully open?

Hi, my coworker would get back to you later for Non-technical questions. About Technical part:

  1. AEON don't offer test cards and wallets. In sandbox env would be real transaction. We will offer you sandbox account for testing, also you can withdraw your testing funds at merchant dashboard.
  2. Don't clarify what does it mean within iFrame. You wanna user pay by ton wallet? we supported TON-TON, not supported USDT-TON. 3&4. This part should be handle by your team.

@Koala-AEON Hi! Thank you for your reply.

  1. We will offer you sandbox account for testing, also you can withdraw your testing funds at the merchant dashboard. So, I need to pay with real assets (main net) to test everything, am I right? Will the withdrawal go to the TRX wallet?

  2. So, is only the TON coin supported on the Ton blockchain? There is a USDT on TON in the documentation too.

2.1. I need to extend the list of supported tokens (Token Support: BTC,ETH,USDC,USDT) Can you help me to add TON and USDT on TON (if enabled, according to the documentation)

3&4. I understand that this action is on our side. I asked about the rules. What exactly should be shared with the public - some part of the project (AEON integration, smart-contracts, etc) or all the code (fully shared and public repo)?

And can you share the GIT accounts of judges to invite them to the closed repository (if you allow us to keep repository closed for all except judges?)

Koala-AEON commented 2 weeks ago

2.Yes, sure. USDT-TON will supported very soon, we can have TON-TON for you.

3&4. Other colleagues would help.

  1. Does the number or variety of goods available for purchase with AEON in the store influence the judges' scoring criteria?

We don't have a specific scoring criteria regarding that, we focus more on the overall product design and how AEON is applied.

  1. Should all game assets presented in the store mechanics be fully functional, or can they simply appear as items without real utility at this stage?

Having game assets without real utility in the store is ok, but I would recommend showcase how the assets can be purchased using AEON API and used in the game.
