rename core-util.h to assert.h #42

(backwards compatible, but we should deprecate the confusingly named core-util.h which now forwards to assert.h in the future)

Related to this - How do we mark it "deprecated, shall be removed/fixed/changed in the next major version" ? A mark which can be searched-and-found in our modules.
