I am a south Sudanese refugee who has been an advocate of open-source tools and open knowledge by the use of open GIS tools like Qgis and other tools to enforce the use of mapping in solving community challenges, I also lead an open knowledge hub in Platform Africa, that has a vision of helping refugees with access to open source tools and knowledge hence our Wiki4refugees initiatives, #openmapping programs that are tailored at allowing the use of open tools for community transformation.
