This is the most promising distro I've seen in quite a while it would be a shame if the project is dead

Hi it is very very dormant since I am extremely busy with work etc and private life took an unexpected turn a bit more than a year ago (divorce) which made the amount of spare time even less.

My ambition is to pick up on it again some time. Right now I am following the development of Chimera Linux, which has many overlapping aims.

That distro is using Alpine apk as a binary format for packages and has its own ports collection. I am sticking with NetBSD userland and pkgsrc as a package manager. I especially like the idea of a system that does not depend on me (the bus factor) and where the distro could be useful with already just a handful of users by avoiding the NIH issue and re-using a cross-platform ports system.

Iglunix is also a good project to follow, in that case. Their goal is mostly to be a showcase gnu-free and alternative userland, but they're also musl + llvm libc++. Their package manager is, however, original to itself.
