back-up older messages #107

After having used an Android phone (HTC Desire) for a couple of weeks, with SMS 
Backup, I decided to import my SMS-database from my previous phone using SMS 
Backup & Restore. However, SMS Backup won't backup these older messages to my 
GMail account.

I have also been having this problem with my HTC Hero.  Please advise if you 
will be updating the software to deal with this?

Same issue. Only backs up messages that were sent/received after I downloaded 
the application.
