With no details it is hard for me to identify the root cause.
What OS and Workflow version are you using ?
What browsers are enabled for history search?
What means slow?
Thanks for your help. 1、 Running environment OS:10.15.7 workflow version: The latest version 4.1.2 browser: chrome 115.0.5790.114 (Official Build) (x86_64) 2、 Slow means after typing keywords for search bookmarks, the results can not appear immediately.
There seems to be no response in the workflow.
What browser did you enable for the search (user configuration)?
Can you find error messages in the workflow debugger?
All settings are default. I can not find any error messages in the workflow debugger. but when you try several times, the result may appear slowly.
You can try to completely delete the history stored in google chrome, visit a few sites and try to search those sites.
Or you can try with another fresh installed browser e.g. brave
I tried it in Safari, but it doesn't work totally.
I feel like I'm going crazy because of this problem.
Safari is not a chrome browser and you should test with another chrome browser first.
But when using Safari it seems it causes an error. Can you please take a look into the debugger?
Hi there! I tried using it on Edge and encountered the same issue. Additionally, I noticed that the fewer bookmarks I have in my browser, the faster the results appear.
I see you are using bookmark search. I thought history search is slow. Let's focus on google chrome for time being.
How many bookmarks are stored in google chrome?

I have nearly 300 bookmarks saved on my Chrome browser. I've also tried out the history search, and it seems to be more effective than bookmark.
The workflow function is quite useful. Is there a way to improve it?
I focused on history search. My bookmarks are around 100 items but 300 does not sound a lot. It could be improved by implementing a cache but I need to look into it first when I will find some time.
