VM_Ubuntu compiling problem

I have this problem and i seem to have been stuck at it, i can or at least could compile the project using maven, but packaging it gives always a message of failure.

Can anyone give a step by step procedure for a clean ubuntu install

for example what code to run and what to install to get things to work properly? and how to check if i did it right?

Now i have another problem when trying to run the jar with dependencies. And that's what i get when packaging them

Any advice? I am running ubuntu 16.04

32 or 64 bit system? Try to compile it on Windows 64.
