We believe startup address is a key field for venture capitalists, especially nowadays when VCs increasingly investing in startups located outside their home countries. The address can be either a detailed local address or as broad as a country. We believe this field is necessary because it enables VC to better assess the investment opportunity, manage risks, and most importantly, ensure compliance with local regulations as
- Different countries have varying regulations around business formation, fundraising, and investment structures. Knowing the location helps VCs ensure they comply with all relevant laws and regulations for both the VC firm and the startup.
- It also helps with tax implications. Tax laws for investors can differ depending on the location of the startup.
With this information in mind, we will reject your bug report.
