[Bug]: It is pitch black in caves even if Brightness setting is set to Bright #1050

What happened?

I freshly started the pack, I configured the vanilla Video Settings to the following values:

I entered some dungeon that remembers me to Roguelike Dungeons, and a deeper cave looks like this: 2024-11-06_07 10 02

I searched through all the video settings but I cannot see any True Darkness or other settings that can cause the issue. I am not sure if it is a bug or what, I want to get a clarification what I see and why I see it, because I think it could not be normal.

Pretty sure that is a Minecraft 1.19 change. You can get night vision easily by making a Silent Gear Bracelet with Dimerald as a gem. That or maybe the Full Brightness Mod.
