Status

These are specific points in a responsive design where the layout of a website or application adjusts to better fit different screen sizes, such as those of mobile devices, tablets, and desktops. Breakpoints ensure that the design remains user-friendly and visually appealing regardless of the device being used.

We often encounter challenges related to responsive design during development. The design system will eventually develop a standard that we may be able to use in Altinn. Until then, what should we set?

We were recommended to look at Aksel’s, as the design system is assumed to use this as a foundation when they start working on it.

Accepted. We need this and it ought to be handled by the design system team (@Febakke). The design system team will create a suggested break-point setup and call for feedback. Once the break-points have been decided, all design leads will need to be informed so that they can bring this up with their respective product team.
