Problem statement: Traffic congestion is a major problem in many urban areas, causing delays and frustration for drivers. A traffic prediction system based on big data analytics and machine learning could help optimize travel routes and reduce congestion.

Conduct a literature review of existing research on traffic prediction and big data analytics. Collect real-time traffic data from multiple sources, such as GPS trackers, traffic cameras, and social media. Select an appropriate machine learning algorithm, such as deep learning or time-series analysis, and tune the hyperparameters using cross-validation. Implement the traffic prediction system using Python and a big data analytics platform such as Apache Spark.
