Weapon idea #23

I've always had an idea of some sort of unit with some type of laser which is pretty weak, however in a group the units can 'share' their laser to create one more powerful laser. Maybe an idea to spice up Dante (See #22)

Sounds interesting, though not sure how plausible it is. If you can make it, feel free to add it.

Potentially when it fires a gadget could iterate through unitdefs finding all of the same type and then checking the distance to them on a 2d plane (Comparing x and z)? Then amplify weapon damage accordingly.

Visuals would be hard to do but I do have ideas for ways to 'cheese' the visual part. (Instead of having beams that connect them on the main unit just have some special effect like it's 'drawing' power from the nearby ones.)
