It appears the the HIL code has had some future refactoring done on it, but it hasn't been completed.

I propose to complete this work and add HIL support for FSX / P3D if possible.

FSX = Flight Simulator X (Microsoft) and P3D = Prepar3d, the Lockheed Martin version of the same product.
