Request for additional alarm sound when your copter crashes. An alarm that sounds until the battery haven't unplug. This will also guide the user to easily locate the crash unit.

A good idea. A made good experiences with such a system realized outside Pixhawk. The crashed copter could be found in a Mais feeld.

+1!!! I came to the issues page just to request this feature. The crash doesn't have to be autocratically recognized, we can just make the disarm beep sound more times if the user keeps rudder left...

So while looking for the copter in tall grass you can keep rudder left and it will beep.

+1! In tall grass, my quad can be only 10m away (without having crashed) and still I'm searching half an hour for it. It would be great if I could have a Tx button/switch to enable the buzzer for some idea where to look.

+1! It is very usefull. When my copter fall into grass I head to arm and disarm to hear arming beep to find it. The grass was so deep, even when copter was 2m from me i could't see it.

cmavr8 commented 9 years ago

Yeap, that's the idea. But arming may not always succeed, so this method cannot be relied on. So we need the "continuous disarm beeps" feature! Pretty please....

Working on this. Could also add mavlink message or stick gesture to toggle this (if disarmed and throttle-yaw stick in upper-left corner then scream)

I am pretty sure this has been done.
