How to use anki 2.1 regex #1

I've tried using a few different styles of regex in Anki 2.1's delete tags menu, but nothing happens.

On the ankiweb page for this addon you mentioned that Anki 2.1 supports regex tag deletion, but it's not working for me. Can you explain a bit more exactly how to use it?

I want to delete all tags with 第.*回 (i.e. with these two characters with anything in between).

I may imagine that regexps break with non latin character. I never tried. It would not be the first time such nightmares occurs when the devs' didn't think about international thoroughly. Because if you add a tag "abc" and then in "remove tags" enters "a*c" it works. You may want to discuss it on https://anki.tenderapp.com/
