ℹ️ Update the AMXX version of Awesome Cars to 1.9

1. Stoping the server

• [x] 1. Rename hlds_run file to hldsrun
• [x] 2. Join the server and use the following commands

rcon_password password
rcon exit

go to gameservers.bg page of the server and click restart, this will fail therefore server would be shut down for safe update of AMXX

2. Update to Metamod-r

installation guide

• [x] edit liblist.gam to point to gamedll_linux "addons/metamod/metamod_i386.so"
• [x] replace config.ini and metamod_i386.so in /cstrike/addons/metamod

3. Update ReGameDLL_CS

• [x] 1. Replace cs.so in cstrike/dlls
• [x] 2. Replace game.cfg and game_init.cfg in cstrike

4. Update ReHLDS

• [x] 1. Replace all files from bin\linux32 in your home directory of the server (one folder above cstrike)

4. Update AMXX

download the Base package for Linux

• [x] 1. Replace all binaries:

• Any .so Linux.svg files in /amxmodx/dlls and /amxmodx/modules folders

• Any .amxx files in /amxmodx/plugins folder

• [x] 2. Replace languages files

• Any .txt files in /amxmodx/data/lang folder

• [x] 3. Replace hamdata.ini in /amxmodx/configs folder

• [x] 4. Copy the whole gamedata directory to the /amxmodx/data folder

download the Counter-Strike package for Linux

• [x] 4. Replace/Add cstrike_amxx_i386.so and csx_amxx_i386.so from /addons/amxmodx/modules into yours
• [x] 5. Replace plugins from /plugins
• [x] 6. Replace csstats.amxx from the /data folder
• [x] 7. Merge the configs in /configs

Starting the server again

• [x] Rename hldsrun file to hlds_run
• [x] Restart server from the website

Update to AMXX 1.9 was not successful, needs more investigation what is the problem, but once someone joins the server or team, server crashes, with the old plugins, with the default ones works fine. Therefore switching back to 1.8.2 till then.

okay found what was the problem, it was my bad all along so basically, you are supposed to do this as well

• Copy the whole gamedata directory to the /amxmodx/data folder
