After some testing this is due to lava source blocks next to any block that is transparent also pneumaticraft fluids are affected

I found that this BUG has been fixed(Reforged-Hub/rubidium-upstream@86966a7) and the version code has been updated to 0.7.1a, so, just wait for release.

I tried the fix for this bug, but the fix seems to be meant for something slightly different. Maybe other files need to be changed that reference render.

So the mod that @reimandoee does work for some people, it does not completely fix the issue and there have been people downloading it and having problems. These fixes are more permanent and will be included in the official 0.7.1a release of Rubidium. My sources are below

I have the following error: The game crashed when encountering an exception when building chunk meshes Error: java.lang.NullPointerException: Cannot invoke "net.minecraft.client.renderer.texture.TextureAtlasSprite.m118367(double)" because "sprite" is null

Oh dont worry about it, when you build your modpack through curseforge and add the mod manually (adding it in the mods directory) and you got to export the profile, the mod will be included in the overrides folder, and any other mods that arent found on curseforge and other configs will exist there as well and be installed automatocally when another person imports that modpack you created on curseforge. Thia bug should only be for rubidium, not oculus. Is it saying the bug is with oculus or is it with rubidium? Send your log please

i thought that oculus rubidium was a part of oculus, i didnt know that rubidium was downloaded alongside oculus, the files posted in the comments worked

This bug was annoying me so much so i figured id find a way to get it fixed, took a few hours since i dont really code or do anything of the like, but i figured out how to compile it with the fixes, try replace your rubidium with the one inside the zip i attached, it works for me mod.zip

This didn't work for me. When I place lava and transparent block together, still gets the excepteion where it cannot find this one sprite.

I found another solution however which is to use "Embeddium". Not sure if that's because Embeddium just had the latest changes in the repo due to it being a fork or whether they fixed it themselves.

~This worked for the most part, but going into the nether is a no go 😭 im just gonna delete rubidium all together and see how it goes~

So the mod that @reimandoee does work for some people, it does not completely fix the issue and there have been people downloading it and having problems. These fixes are more permanent and will be included in the official 0.7.1a release of Rubidium. My sources are below

I'm using 0.7.1a and still having these crashes. Whatever they did to fix it, unfortunately doesn't seem to have fully fixed it.

It did fixed it for us a few months ago in our project and we hadn't had problems since for the runtime of the project back then.
