Changeable Favicons #1190

Describe alternatives you've considered Changeable favicons.

some sites use different hosts and give a weird server icon or the site doesn't have any rss feed support so I have to use google rss and google has a weird icon. so it would be great if you add a changeable favicon feature.

Additional context the current favicon mechanism attracts low quality icons. it would be much better if you use something like this.

What is Google RSS? Do you have an example of a feed with a bad favicon?

For example, this site does not have RSS support. So what we gonna do about it.. We can use google rss like this. The annoying thing is the google not serve the sites icon on the feed. We seeing the google news icon on the reader. That's why i want that feature. And other thing is, poor quality with favicons. This is the normal way and lets see the how its look like. I stole the url on the google news page. This is much more quality.

Oh okay so you're using a feed of a search result on Google News and you'd like to change it's favicon. Why not :)
