Official glide64:
Challenge gym leader and use Umbreon and "Mean Look", you will see image01
(blocky
eye sparkle) in Mupen64. Use Arbok and "Glare" and you will see image07 in
Mupen64
(blocky eye sparkle). Use Granbull and "Scary Face" and you will see image08 in
Mupen64 (blocky eye sparkle). Close rom, start game again and load savestate
and you
get blocky eye sparkle for all the same attack in Mupen64.
My compiled glide64:

Using latest official glide64, the blocky eye sparkle seems to be gone (it works
correctly even with my previous savestate).
But the effects (from PJ64 screenshot is still missing or hardly visible if you
try
hard enough to see). Is it some kind of fog effect?

I'm not familiar with this game. Could you give me a savestate which I can load
and
see the problem? Like: load, press some button - the attack started.

The fb effect from the various attacks that cause blocky eye effect has been
fixed.
