I would like to include the Favicon for Google to pickup #107

There doesnt seem to be any option to include the favicon anywhere on the sitemap?

@designsonline you mean that you wish to have your favicon URL in the sitemap file(s)?

Yes, currently Google have not picked it up for some reason.

So given that it has become an important factor for Google, I tried to check it was in the sitemap and found that it isnt.

GitHub, is not for support, but I will ask, have you already tried this?

Yes the website has a favicon, (correct name, correct size, plus specific variations for the different browsers) but it just hasn’t been found by Google yet

No, but it is logically now something that it seems should be included in the data passed by a sitemap, and so I wanted to ask if it is going to be included.
