1 year ago I don't know of any way of forcing sync on green on Wii's video encoder, so RGsB is not possible as far as I know. VGA patches only work for stuff booted from RVLoader. VGA on the System Menu used to work (currently it doesn't due to a bug), but booting any software from there would disable the patches and VGA would be lost.
Hi, I wanted to use my wii (not portabilized) on my trinitron that does not support YPbPr but support both RGsB and RGBHV 480p without hardmodding my childhood wii itself (so RGBHV would not be possible). Could it be possible or should I just teardown the wii and begin soldering (also suggestions on what pins to sacrifice on the AV connector are welcome)? Also I wanted to ask if the VGA patch works on the native System Menu (since I haven't portabilized the Wii I can still use it technically). Thanks in advance for any response, and I really love the work that has been put in this project so far.
