Quick summary

When using the AI assistant to change the tone of a text written in Swedish (it could be for other languages too), the text is automatically translated into English.

This issue was found as part of Jetpack Testing p8oabR-1ml-p2.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Add a text in Swedish.
  2. In the AI assistant, click Change Tone.
  3. Select any tone.
  4. Observe that the entire text will be translated into English.

📌 REPRODUCTION RESULTS

📌 FINDINGS/SCREENSHOTS/VIDEO Replicated on both Simple and Atomic. My first tests used a short paragraph for a test, and that remained in it's original language after changing the tone - but a longer page of text was translated to English when the AI Assistant changed it's tone.

Same behavior on Simple & AT.

Atomic, short text

I've been able to reproduce the issue, but not consistently. Maybe 2 out of 3 times, the updated text will be in the original language. In other instances, the updated text is in English.
