Some features that appear in real racetracks are missing from the simulated track, such as

non-rounded 90° corners
non-circular curves (the wallfollowing algorithm might be biased to work better on perfectly circular curves)
acute turns
variation in track width
"misleading" features such as indentations or notches in the track wall
