With the new SimulatedConstantVelocityPositioner used for the SimulatedPiezoXyStageWithReadback in the samplexy.fine stage, the ideal positioner velocity and the update_period need to be measured on terrier.

On workstation zap, update_period less than 0.05 s resulted in scans with dropped image frames and inconsistent updates of the x & y axes. This might be workstation dependent so test on terrier, wow, and otz. Describe each of these workstations (CPU, task load, RAM, IOC location, ...)

Since velocity is a computed number based on the span to be covered in the duration, it also needs to be examined.
