e.g. Piwik / Piwiki Pro as alternative to Google Analytics

OpenShift makes on-prem instances of tools like this much more viable. Also makes it more viable to have multiple instances (vs. single monolithic instance) if deployment effort is codified / automate and therefore near zero.

I believe MoTI is using Piwik.

This general "what to do about analytics" question was raised on the ESM project.
