Hi Jan, it's been a long time since I've talked with you in Sketchucation and I hope everything is OK:

I've tried using the Sketchup-IFC-Manger plugin for the first time with a very simple file that featured hole cutting components. You've experimented with this kind of holes on BIM Tools, I guess.

Hole cutting components are very useful in Sketchup but do not actually create geometry, they're just a visual effect. Most exporters that deal with them explode the components prior to exporting them and then undo the operation. This makes the hole become geometry in the wall and exported as such.

Do you think this would also be possible to happen with IFC export from the IFC manager plugin?

The SKP file (2020) and IFC export are in the attached zip.

Thanks for your work!
