PCB layout in open source tool format possible? #3

Your Project looks great! Thanks so much for the effort you put into reversing the pinout and designing the PCB! However, I'd like to modify the PCB so that the pins are routed to a 20P FPC connector instead. Unfortunately I don't own SprintLayout. All efforts to import the lay6 file into free Software like easyEDA or KiCAD failed so far.

Would you mind exporting the layout into a format supported by either of those (KiCAD preferred)?

That would be awesome!

I can give it a try. I can try to instal KiCAD and convert the file. If this is not possible I can try to recreate it for you in KiCAD. But I never used this software. Give me some time and I will see what I can do for you.

Thanks for your fast reply. Maybe SprintLayout can export to different formats so that you don't have any extra work at all?

I will give it a try

Can you give me your email so I can send you some files? Or how can I contact you?

Wow, did you already manage to export something? Much appreciated! I don't feel comfortable sharing my Mail on an open discussion. At least on mobile I don't see an option to write you directly.

What is your opinion on an open online cloud/File exchange or just adding them to this project?

It is not possible to export files in an other format than lay6. But I might have a solution for you. Can I find you on Facebook or something? Maybe you can find me.
