Current behavior

Desired behavior

thumb is displayed (if provided)
the full photo takes is progressively displayed, while being downloaded
then thumb (if any) is still there during the download, progressively replaced by the full photo

This might not be possible with E2EE. The picture would have to be fully downloaded, then fully deciphered, then displayed.
