I've just found the 'Computational Modeling of Cognition and Behavior' book and reading through it to find r code is helpful but I was looking at rewriting it to python.

My ask is how much of the book have you completed so I could help complete that or what is the status of how recent the repo is vs the book in terms of upkeep and advancing the utility of the repo for scientific decision study.

Hi, apologies for the late response, I missed the message initially.

So far I have written chapters 1 and 2 into my own words, as jupyter notebook files, with code in python.

I have also begun work on chapter 3, I made some progress but did not complete the chapter.

So far I have mostly just translated the code as is, occasionally trying to improve bits of code but I haven't modified the content significantly.

You can view all of my progress in the notebook folder of the repository.

I'm a PhD student, working in cognitive neuroscience and am currently writing up a paper and my PhD thesis. I am quite busy at the moment but would be happy to still contribute where I can.

Let me know if you are still interested, and any ideas you have for collaboration

Thanks, so many repos have gone dark and I either can't update, fix, patch or monkey patch code that it becomes a dead end for a linguistics project I'm on. Will take a thorough look during summer break, it's really helpful in a way of thinking about thought vs code that is actually helping me improve my understanding to think to write better code.
