I have tested my EFI on a Z840 with 2x 2680V3 CPUs. BTW - this EFI is for HP Zx40 model only.
Do you know of anyone who had their Zx40 with dual Xeons boot? There are people on the forums who got their (non-hp) workstations with dual Xeons to work, but I have no clue if this depends on the manufacturer.
thanks
No. The EFI of hackintosh is highly binding with certain models, especially the BIOS version is also been considered as the important material that should align to the builder's system as soon as possible.
The best solution is to buy a used Zx40 server. I bought a Z440 with 4x8G and E5 2680V4, it behaves good performance and the system exceeds M1/M1 pro under Geekbench 5.

Yeah I know that it's only for the Zx40s, I was only talking about Dual Xeons being able to boot macOS in general Thanks for the reply and your work as well, I'll try it out on my Z640 sooner or later
