Erroneous conservation status data in Pantheon - Sympetrum striolatum and Cernuella virgata #292

Email has come in from a user:

I have entered a list of 307 species today [29/09/2023] and there are at least two clear errors in the ‘Conservation status’ field, when viewing the ‘Species list’ report.

Sympetrum striolatum (Common Darter dragonfly) is coming out as ‘DD;NS’, though it is LC and has never had any greater conservation status. Sympetrum nigrescens is DD but if you lump nigrescens (DD) under striolatum (LC), the resulting striolatum in a wider sense will still be LC.

Cernuella virgata (a common snail) is coming out as DD though it is LC.

These may be the symptom of some error that has affected a greater number of records?

Another user has also been in touch with regards to Sympetrum striolatum.

When I have looked at the data, it shows two entries for me. Both show as NS:DD (which is incorrect) but they have different SQS, one showing 1 (correct?) and the other showing 4 (incorrect?).
