Connecting to the robot through wireless network #5

We need to be able to connect to the robot through wireless, Ideally WIFI. @JoeyCluett has been able to talk to the robot by turning the wireless NIC on the snowplow into a "hot spot" so a computer can connect to the robot. There could be down falls to this plan.

Some ideas include:

  1. Having a wireless router and using that as a middle man to control communications. a. Either have the router on the snowplow and just have whatever computer we wish connect to the robot. b. Have the router on the base station and have the snowplow automatically connect to the router.
  2. Continue using the snowplow's wireless NIC in to a router.
  3. Not have wireless communications.
