Kil'Jaedens Shadowspikes are groundable with Grounding Totem.
How it works:
Putting down Grounding Totem during the Shadowspike-channel ( 85%, 55%, 25% boss hp trigger) will make the shadowspikes land on the totem instead of the player, if the player is in the range of the totem. Since the spell is an aoe effect the totem will soak every spike til it disappears.
How it should work:
The shadowspike should not be affacted by the Grounding totem.

I cant find a source saying that you should put Grounding Totem during that phase, which should be evidence enough that this is a bug.
