MX Maser 2S Mouse Issues #5

Currently using and loving this add-on. However, I am using an MX Master 2S on a Mac with this add on and am experiencing some issues. 2 things:

  1. the add on does not appear to record inputs correctly from the scroll wheel when 'Smooth Scrolling' is enabled through the Logi Options app. It will work but not predictably. Not sure if there is a way to disable smooth scrolling for particular apps but when I turn off smooth scrolling everything works flawlessly.
  2. the side buttons of the mouse are not registered by the add-on when mapped to forward and backward, not sure why this could be.

Can't stress enough how awesome this add-on is, it's a complete game-changer. Thanks for your help!

Regarding 2, could you try setting z_debug to true in addon config? It will show you the hotkey combination string upon mouse clicks.

According to this link, when the logitech software is running, xbuttons are sent as ctrl + alt + tab. If you are running such program, can you try disabling it and see if that works?
