pi 5 8 gb stuck on "Formatting /dev/mmcblk - There is no turning back now."

Setup:

• windows 11
• raspberry pi 5 model b rev 1.0 (8 g)
• sandisk ultra 32 gb (white and gray)
• day of wor download 10/02/2024
• Raspberry Pi OS Debian GNU/Linux 12 (Bookworm) aarch64

Procedure:

1) i installed it from pi apps 2) i selected win 11 and pi5 3)selected en-us lang 4) selected the 32 gb sd 5) i did NOT edit the config.txt, i just pressed flash 6) it downloaded files 7) it got stuck at "Formatting /dev/mmcblk - There is no turning back now." 8) tried same things in terminal 9) tried to delete and download wor again

what should i do

ok it worked by removing the poartition on the sd card useing gparted on pi apps
