Summary

This PR merges all foundational development work from the develop branch into main.

Summary of Work Completed:

Established baseline project structure using Spring Boot.
Integrated API testing tools: TestNG and Rest Assured.
Created and configured a basic GitHub Actions workflow for CI/CD.
Updated docker-compose.yml to properly configure the database environment.
Refactored and cleaned up initial controller test classes for better maintainability.

Impact

Project is now in a solid position for ongoing feature development, testing, and deployment.
GitHub Actions provides a foundation for automated testing with future improvements planned (e.g., linting, static analysis).

Next Steps

Expand unit and integration test coverage.
Integrate code quality tools (linting, formatting, static analysis) into the pipeline.
