UID 1000 and 1001 partially leaking through #169

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Installed droidwall from the market
2. Used whitelist mode, allowed some application I wanted
3. UIDs 1000 (Settings, ...), 1001 (QXDM2SD,Phone...) disabled

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expecting no traffic reported through 1000 and 1001

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.5.2 Unity Doubleshot 1.0.1, kernel Unity v4.

Please provide any additional information below.
I can see packages with ID 1000 blocked in the Droidwall LOG,
yet Traffic Monitor reports traffic sent and recived through UID 1000 and 1001.
How come? I'd be happy to provide more info

More leaks according to traffic monitor:
com.google.uid.shared
com.htc.bg.uid.shared
android.media
droidwall itself
superuser
sound set
htc loggers
themes provide

All of those are blocked...
