Basic Student dashboard layout

I have kept this branch up to speed with the master so that a seamless merge is possible. Tested loading time in build-preview on a separate new system to ensure reasonable loading speed while ruling out any possible caching that may happen in the development environment. From what I've seen in the console, that unresponsiveness may be caused by some timeout error.
