Currently, the cg.ca_daily_vis.rc script, which is run every 1/2 hour is very verbose. So much so, that after reviewing it a few times, people are liable to ignore it. It would be better if the output was much smaller.
The first item is simply to eliminate the commands, which make up a good portion of the output, and do very little to help the user identify any problems.
There are two types of errors that get reported. If the expected file doesn't exist, than that is simply output. If the file exists, then that is both output, and a pushover error is sent, since this means the system is very broken and needs to be fixed.
